Thane, 27th June, 2013: Keeping in line with its endeavor of offering enhanced shopping experience to Thaneites, KORUM – the Mall for every mood today announced the opening of the eagerly awaited coffee store Starbucks Coffee - “A Tata Alliance”, a 50/50 joint venture between Starbucks Coffee Company and Tata Global Beverages Limited. . The new Starbucks store at KORUM will now ensure Thaneites to experience the globally renowned elevated coffeehouse experience at their favorite mall.

Spread across a sprawling 1300 sq.ft, Starbucks is located on the upper ground floor of the mall ensuring easily accessibility to patrons visiting KORUM. The contemporary heritage style of this store’s design boasts of global coffee history and features the Starbucks siren and a mural of Starbucks first store in Seattle’s historic Pike Place market. The store beautifully weaves the coffee story into its design and décor, from the hand-chalked graphics to the use of deep grained woods, tufted fabrics and ornate metalwork, echoing the siren theme and promising a unique third place to a diverse set of customers.
