Mumbai, 9^th March 2018: Phoenix Marketcity Kurla, the hub of fashion and entertainment hosted an extravagant night, thePower Woman Fiesta Awards ahead of Women’s Day. Dedicated to all women, the power packed evening witnessed renowned women from various sectors such as Hina Khan, Debina Bonnerjee, Nisha JamVwal, Geeta Kapoor, Rashmi Uday Singh, Amrita Raichand, Deanne Panday, Aanam Chashmawala, Amy Billimoria, Pria Kataaria Puri, Anjali Mukherjee, Manju Lodha, Neha Gundecha, Vandana Sajnani and many more.

To commemorate the “strong woman” and take it a notch higher, Phoenix Marketcity, Mumbai also announced a first-of-its-kind initiative for all women customers of the mall. The mall launched the Sanitary Napkin Vending Machine which will be placed across female washrooms at the mall.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajendra Kalkar, President West, Phoenix Marketcity Mumbai said, “Every year, we celebrate the strong & independent woman through our initiative - Power Woman Fiesta. Through the Power Woman Fiesta Awards we want to honour all those women who have achieved so much through their dedication and hard work and are true role models to society.”

He concluded, “We are also proud to launch the Sanitary Napkin Vending Machines at our mall.  We are committed to using our resources and infrastructure to support women.  This is a first-of-its-kind India-specific mall innovation and we are sure it will be beneficial for all women customers at our mall.”

Celebrating the spirit of Independent Women, the retail paradise - Phoenix Marketcity, Mumbai kick-started the 7th edition of Power Woman Fiesta ahead of International Women’s Day. As part of the celebrations, Phoenix Marketcity hosted the Power Woman Fiesta Awards – an event conceptualised and curated in association with Whiteleaf Entertainment. that were curated and. Additionally, Phoenix Marketcity will distribute exclusive offer booklets to women shoppers who registered at the mall. These booklets assure complimentary indulgences for ladies at select F&B outlets, discounts on international fashion brands, spa sessions and entertainment zones at the Mall.

Women can avail the offers by grabbing one of the limited number of booklets available on first-come first-served basis by registering themselves at the nearest kiosk within the mall.
