Oberoi Mall organizes a Drive-In Covid-19 Vaccination for citizens

Mumbai, June 8, 2021: Oberoi Mall, in association with MCGM, announced Goregaon's first drive-in Covid-19 vaccination from Monday, 7th June 2021 onwards. The eligible age for vaccination is 45 years and above as per the Maharashtra Government mandate. Hon’ble MLA Shri Ravindra Waikar ji and Hon’ble Corporator Shri Swapnil Tembwalkar inaugurated the drive-in vaccination and acknowledged the safety measures undertaken by the Mall. 

An individual simply needs to register the Co-WIN app/website and schedule their appointment and carry their Aadhar Card & proof of appointment on the day of vaccination.  They would drive-in through Oberoi Mall’s parking and remain inside their vehicle throughout the entire vaccination process thereby assuring them complete safety and comfort. Once vaccinated, they will have to wait inside their vehicles in the observation zone designated in the parking area for 30-minutes post which they can exit the premises. Please note that no walk-ins will be allowed by MCGM for the vaccination camp.

We will continue to work closely with MCGM so that we are able to vaccinate maximum individuals while adhering to the stated norms and safety protocols.”

The Mall will have the required arrangements and provide a safe and hygienic environment to ensure the vaccination of 100 doses daily, administered by MCGM experts. The Mall will thoroughly sanitize the premises at regular intervals and organize refreshments and gift vouchers as a token of appreciation for those who come in for the vaccination.
