Seawoods Grand Central gears up for unique Fitness Challenge

~ FIT-IN initiative to reward contestants with prizes and gift vouchers ~

Navi Mumbai, December 15, 2017; Health, as the well-known adage goes, is the most essential wealth. For without health, we have little to aspire for. Health and fitness is the key to a long and happy life. Nowhere has this been more relevant than in the 21^st century where gadget-driven lifestyles and sleep deficits are taking a serious toll on the mental and physical wellbeing of people. A competitive environment is only making the situation worse. Unfortunately, health and fitness is often the first casualty in most work-life arrangements.

Realising the gravity of the situation and in an effort to encourage healthy and positive lifestyles, Seawoods Grand Central Mall, Navi Mumbai, has launched FIT-IN — a unique fitness challenge that aims to inspire people to stay fit and even reward them for their efforts.

FIT-IN ensures that participants stick to their fitness regimens through a series of well-planned physical activities such as Zumba workshops, cardio exercises and cross-fit training sessions, all inside the mall. On Special Sunday, registered participants can record the maximum number of steps they take in an hour with the help of a pedometer. Contestants with the most number of steps win a voucher. There will be other rewards, too, depending on the activities the contestants take part in and the goals they achieve. The top 10 contestants will win goodies from big retail brands in the mall, and at least one lucky winner will get a makeover from a renowned stylist and designer. The winners will be announced during Christmas celebrations. Participants can also wear their dream apparel on New Year’s Eve and share a picture on the SGC Mall portal.
