Mumbai, 28th September, 2016: Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla will be hosting India's 1st Ever Upcycling Festival, The Kabaad Mela from Friday, 30th September to Sunday, 2nd October 2016. The goal of the festival is to bring Upcycling to the masses and to make it a lot of fun! At the Kabaad Mela this year's 50 best creations will be exhibited along with many performances, games, workshops, activities and other exciting events for all ages! Upcycling is a process of transforming by-products, waste materials, and useless or unwanted products into new materials or products of better quality or of better environmental value.

The Kabbad Mela will have upcycling-themed dance, comedy and debate competition rounds between colleges in Mumbai, free upcycling consultancy service, beautiful art installations, a live upcycling corner, an upcycling photo booth and lots of fun games and activities. There will also be exciting music and dance performances.
