Born to the legendary actor, Mehmood Ali, Lucky Ali made his debut with the soulful album 'Sunoh', which established him as a singer. His album won him several notable awards, including Best Male Vocalist at the 1996 Screen Awards and Channel V Viewers' Choice Award in 1997. The album stayed on the MTV Asia Charts in the top spot for a good 60 weeks! The song ‘O Sanam’ from 'Sunoh' launched his career and is considered by some to be one of the finest Indie-pop songs ever! It was also nominated for the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards. His next music album, 'Sifar', was well received and loved by his fans for its music, lyrics, and vocals. Even his third and fourth albums were stellar hits. Recently, he broke the internet with an impromptu performance of his famous 'O Sanam' in Goa.
