Mumbai, 10 September 2013: This year, Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla gives you the opportunity to witness Ganesha in his different forms through a unique art Exhibition, GANESHA ABSOULTE. To celebrate this auspicious festival the artist, Bansri Chavda pays tribute to Lord Ganesha. The artist has captured different forms of Ganesha, through her work, such as Ekdanta, Vakratunda, Mangalmurti, Siddhivinayaka, Uddanda.

The paintings are linear drawings of Lord Ganesha rendered in a play of colours, texture, layers and rhythm with an occasional glimpse of light and shade. The paintings have been done on canvas and mount boards with texturing, layering, scraping, painting, re-layering, connecting flow, composition and tone to the basic linear drawing, so as to capture the character of the form Ganesha more casually.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajendra Kalkar, Senior Center Director, Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla said,”Ganesh Utsav is an extremely joyous occasion and we are very happy to celebrate it with a unique art exhibition at the mall.
