Indigo Deli's Delicious Decade!

Ten years ago, on June 30, 2005, the Indigo Delicatessen was born. A game-changer at the time, “The Deli”, as it’s popularly called, was conceptualized as a restaurant and fine food/ kitchen store to serve the time-restricted, quality conscious diner.

Way ahead of its time, it introduced such concepts to the city ten years ago that have only started gaining popularity today. All-day breakfast, takeaway salads by the kilo, canapés by the dozens, meats and cheeses, daily specials - to name a few! And at the helm of this delicious journey is Executive Chef Jaydeep Mukherjee - the force behind it all! Chef JD and his team, like a well-oiled machine, steer The Delis forward every single day to serve you the most awesome creative comfort food and then, some more! So what’s changed over the last ten years?

A lot. Starting off as a chic New York-style eatery in the hip Colaba area,The Deli’s network has now expanded all over Mumbai, and most recently in New Delhi too, with each restaurant bearing its own unique character. What remains constant though is the feeling of warmth and friendliness, attention to detail and the most important ingredient, love. The love of food, the love of hospitality and the joy associated with watching a diner just dig in!

It’s been a fantastic 10 year run for the Indigo Deli! And we have only YOU to thank - our patrons, our supporters and our friends. Thank you for being a part of our journey!

Sunday, June 21: Breakfast like a Boss
A brekkie menu like no other, start your morning (noon or night!) with wholesome shakes, many eggs benny (butter poached lobster/ slow braised pork belly/ classic Caprese/ avocado and corncakes), pan crepes to order, the Deli Breakfast Burrito and the divine Hot Chocolate Granola with banana and nuts. Don’t miss this one!

Monday, June 22: Free cookies!/
Indigo Deli’s home-made cookies are what sweet dreams are made of! Get a free pack of freshly baked cookies with your meal. Happy Monday!

Tuesday, June 23: Chomp for Charity
You eat, we donate! Each Indigo Deli is associated with an NGO and a portion of the revenue of the day will be donated to support extremely noble causes.

Wednesday, June 24: Cook with Chef JD + Lunch
Eager to recreate some of your favourite Deli dishes at home? This one’s for you! Don your aprons and get cookin’ as Chef JD dispenses his Deli secrets followed by lunch. Write to us with the recipes you would like to learn at Deli10 @i ndigodeli . com and we’ll incorporate the most requested recipes into the class.
Venue: Tote on the Turf, Mahalaxmi Race Course ITime: Noon to 4 pm

Step 1. Order 10 shots for Rs 100.

The crazy popular American food trucks meet Indigo Deli- a menu featuring all that’s greasy, cheesy, saucy and downright yummy, designed to take you straight to food truck heaven!

Saturday, June 27: Burger Off!
Big, juicy, gourmet burgers with the works- now that’s our perfect Saturday!Caramelized Beer Onion and 3 cheese melt; Chorizo Double Cheese; Quack Quack Succulent Duck in Steamed Bao; Crabcake with green apple mayo and Sriracha… Hallelujah!

Sunday, June 28: The Ol’ Fashioned Deli
The Deli goes retro with a special menu highlighting those forgotten classics such as the Minestrone, Camembert Soufflé, Beef Stroganoff, Old fashioned Carrot Cake, Bread Pudding and Blueberry Crumble.Ready for that trip down memory lane?

Monday, June 29: Deli on Wheels
We’re hitting the road from South to North Mumbai, making several stops along the way giving away free Deli goodies, hugs and loads of happiness! Join us? Choose your stop!

Tuesday, June 30: It’s Our Birthday!
It’s a new era for The Deli, and what better start than a refreshing new menu and a round of bubbly or sangria on the house! For the first time in ten years, Indigo Deli’s revered a la carte menu will feature lots of new additions.But that’s not the only surprise in store!
