Witness Benny Dayal’s FunktuaTion and Arunaja’s band perform live at High Street Phoenix’s AWESTRUNG on 24^th November 2017

Mumbai, 16^th November 2017: This month end, make no other plans and head to High Street Phoenix with your friends and families to witness this year’s most epic music performance at AWESTRUNG! Bollywood’s favourite singer, Benny Dayal will take over the stage with his band FunktuaTion with the main act while Arunaja, known for performing the craziest RnB and Pop runs with her band will open the act.

Known for performing a mix of Tamil, Hindi and English music across the country, FunktuaTion will be performing a new single in Tamil "Oora Paaru" meaning "see the village" at AWESTRUNG which has a very international feel that is sure to make waves in India with the music as well as the video. The band recently collaborated with the celebrated pianist Anil Srinivasan for a renowned music fest in Chennai this month. Their latest Tamil single, Project Urvashi has already got 7 lakh plus views on Youtube and is being loved by everyone. Rising to fame for his Bollywood productions, Benny Dayal has been traveling across the globe with his band writing and playing independent music since 2011.  With Benny Dayal on the Vox, the other band members are Carl Fernandes - Bass Guitar, Joshua Satya - electric guitar, Alok Merwin – Keys, David Joseph – Drums, Allwyn – Percussions and Toby- Sound engineer.

Arunaja who grew to fame after becoming a finalist on the reality TV show ‘The Stage Season 2’ is now working on an independent EP. She recently collaborated with Joshi and Zenith, the electronic music composers for a music show. Known for performing to Pop/RnB, Arunaja and her band is now also working on a single which will be out in the next six months.  After traveling to and fro between Kochi to Mumbai, Arunaja recently shifted to Mumbai and is exploring new projects and avenues with some of her independent songs and music. Her band comprises of Roop Thomas Philip – Blakc, Mayank Sharma – Zygnema, Vignesh Venkatraman - Albatross / Democratic resurrection.
