High Street Phoenix to host an array of special music performances the entire month of September

Mumbai, September 10, 2014: If you’ve ever heard the phrase, ‘Music is food for the soul’ then a visit to High Street Phoenix this month is a must! This September, the mall will be playing host to various musical artists from genres like Sufi Rock, Electro, Hip-Hop and Jazz and famous Indian saxophonist, ID Rao.

Starting this week, the different zones of the mall namely Grand Galleria, Sky Zone, West Court Lobby, etc will be transformed into little spaces of joy with music artists strumming out notes and belting out tunes to soothe your musical senses. These performances will be held from September 10th – September 14th, 2014, 5.30 pm onwards.

If shopping to the tune of a flautist playing in the background or your favorite artist being played on the DJ’s console, is your thing, then head to High Street Phoenix with a few of your friends and make your shopping experience one that will not be forgotten for a long time to come.

The performances will showcase acts by:

1. Famous Indian B-Boying group Freak n Style- Started in 2007, Freak N Style pioneered the art of b-Boying in India. Having won numerous awards, they hav represented India in this field since the time they were founded and have also been part of many a music videos.

2. Electro DJ- Sohil- DJ Sohil has always been known to dish out some tight sets which leave the crowd asking for more. Starting at a very early age has had ample of time for music genres like Bollywood, UK Bhangra, Hip Hop, R&B, Electro, Funky House, House, Tech, Minimal House, Progressive House and Trance, he has played at various events across the country like Lakme Fashion Week, Sunburn 2011 after party etc.

3. Hip Hop Dance Academy- Founded by Mr Hemant Patil in the year 2008, the academy teached various dance forms like Bollywood, B-Boying, Freestyle, etc. Over the years, Mr Patil has accrued a number of accolades for himself and his dance academy.
