As they say, the first wealth is your health, so High Street Phoenix in association with STAG brings a fabulous way to earn it in a fun way by organizing a Table Tennis-off for all the sports loving enthusiasts of Mumbai on 17th December 2013 at the Courtyard of the mall. While Mumbaikars engage in competing against each other and enjoying the sport, Mr. Kamlesh Mehta, National Table Tennis Coach, will make his presence felt by guiding the participants with his tips and tricks at the venue.
For those who are game to try their hands at Ping Pong, Mr. Mehta will conduct a special workshop as part of the December edition of High Street Phoenix’s popular monthly property Talent Tuesday from 12 pm to 6 pm. Celebrating yet another talent from the contemporary world, High Street Phoenix’s ‘Talent Tuesday’ is a monthly intellectual property aimed at giving a platform to various talents & young enthusiasts. It offers a chance to witness some inspiring & spellbinding performances and talent displays.
It looks set to be a STAG-gering event, are you ready?
About Mr. Kamlesh Mehta:
Mr. Mehta was the captain of the Indian team from 1982 to 1989 and was the highest ranked Indian player in Asia, the Commonwealth and the world. He represented India in seven world championships, eight Asian championships, two Asian Games, six Commonwealth Games, four South Asian Federation games, two Olympic Games and many other official and friendly competitions in India and abroad. His best performance came in the SAF Games in 1991 at Colombo where he won seven gold and four silver medals. He was awarded the Arjuna Award in 1985. He was the first Indian to receive the Fair Play Trophy at the Commonwealth Championships, in 1989. Kamlesh was appointed the National Coach in 1998.
