~Re-inventing the popular ’The Lil Flea’ from the streets of Bandra with tasteful art painting the walls of High Street Phoenix~

Rediscovering the culture of hand-made art collectibles, artistic installations, organic cafes and sufi music, High Street Phoenix has partnered with the organizers of Bandra’s The Lil Flea to put together a fantastic weekend to indulge in selfies, food and all things nice! While the shoppers are spoilt for choice at the End of Season Sale across all international brands in the mall, ‘The Lil Art & Flea Collective’ invites one and all to attend a three day long carnival starting from 30th January until 1st February at the Courtyard of High Street Phoenix, 12 noon onwards.

‘The Lil Flea & Art Collective’ will include six interactive art pieces prepared in Kitsch and pop colors, strewn and placed at different locations in the mall. A 12 foot camera, placed at Palladium, painted in pop colors and kitsch art and with a vintage living room housed right inside it will attempt to depict the social media influence over our real life. Meanwhile, audience can soak in the radiance of a 30 foot long Rainbow Tunnel made entirely of colored wool and strewn with Origami birds and colorful dragon-flies, adding a pinch of contemporary taste with a Selfie With Your Bestie Scooter and A magical garden for kids with Warhol inspired swings & see-saws, gnomes & fairies made entirely of used tyres and up cycled material. Another popular feature inspired from Lil Flea is The Lil Book Exchange which has grown wings and has now started travelling across the city to offer you a book for a book without any exchange of money.

Apart from these quirky art installations, the earlier success of Lil Flea market will be reinstalled where one can shop from the options at 50 different pop-up stalls by some of Mumbai's best up and coming designers and home grown brands or indulge in sumptuous delicacies from 10 home chefs and upcoming food brands.

One could simply relax after the selfies and shopping with a glass of sangrias while also witnessing live performances by nine different artistes including Sufi Rock Band Kabir Café on Friday, foot tapping Dylan covers and originals by Clayton Hogermeer & Friends on Saturday and the highly infectious African Rhythms and sounds by the Boombay Djembe Folas on Sunday.
