India's favourite music band ‘Indian Ocean’ will be performing at AWESTRUNG along with The Local Train only at High Street Phoenix

~Indian Ocean will perform three new unreleased songs at AWESTRUNG~

~The Local Train will be releasing the music video of ‘Mijaaz’ from their latest album Vaaqif in April 2018~

Mumbai, 19th March 2018: This AWESTRUNG, lets ‘Rock and Roll’ with the two most epic bands – one that is legendary and popular since the 90s while the other which is a decade old and growing immensely in popularity! Head to High Street Phoenix on 30th March 2018, 6.30 pm onwards to witness Hindi Rock Bands, Indian Ocean and The Local Train perform live! 

Indian Ocean, known as the pioneers of Hindi Fusion Rock Music in India, will set their foot on the platform of AWESTRUNG for the very first time. The band will be performing on three new singles ‘Akhiyan Udeek Diyan’ (cover of a Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan song), ‘Jaadu Malaya’ and ‘Soch Mat’ which has yet not been released. With time, the band has come to a realization of putting out their music content- video as well as songs, online to ensure its reaching out to more and more listeners. Not only that, the band is focusing on releasing singles as the concept of albums is fading out with the advent of online content, music and music videos getting popularized on the internet. 

Opening the act will be by The Local Train which will be performing on the tracks from their latest album ‘Vaaqif’ which released in the month of January 2018. Post the release of the album, the band also released the music video of ‘Dil Nawaaz’ from the album on Youtube which has already hit a million views! ‘Vaaqif’ became the number one independent album on the Apple Music charts and the band’s Youtube channel hit 100,000 subscribers. Post their Vaaqif tour around India they plan to do an Acoustic Set Tour in September 2018 onwards.
