AWESTRUNG is back with a bang with sensational performances by Shirley Setia and Raghav Meattle only at High Street Phoenix!

Mumbai, 23^rd October 2017: The most awaited monthly music property, AWESTRUNG is back, and it’s back with a bang! With the advent of the festive season, High Street Phoenix plans to make AWESTRUNG grander this time by hosting Raghav Meattle and Shirley Setia on 27^th October 2017, 6.30 pm onwards.

Within a span of 4 years, the 21 year old Shirley Setia has gained immense popularity. The Indo- Kiwi singer has about 1.5 million followers on YouTube and 3.4 million followers on Facebook. After gaining fame on Youtube while in New Zealand, Shirley moved to India in 2016 to try her luck in Bollywood. Her first live show in India was at High Street Phoenix where she was a part of the Totem Pole line up. After that, there was no looking back! From being described as “Bollywood’s Next Big Singing Sensation” by Forbes Magazine to earning the title ‘Pyjama Popstar’ by New Zealand Herald, Shirley Setia has become a worldwide sensation amongst the youth. Amongst the plethora of contemporaries in the industry, Shirley has proved that she is not just another YouTube star but a full-fledged recording and performing artist, all within a span of 4 years. Other than her collaborations with International creators, Shirley has had the privilege of working with Bollywood biggies such as Sachin Jigar (recently did the song ‘Disco Disco’ from the movie A Gentleman), Arko Pravo Mukherjee, Raftaar, Jubin Nautiyal, Ehsaan & Loy and more. 

Known for doing a lot of Bollywood Covers, Shirley is now planning to come up with a set of her own independent songs. Raghav Meattle, the singer-songwriter based out of Mumbai who was the semi finalist of second season of The Stage, India's only English reality show airing on Colors Infinity would open the act with his 'simple and catchy' music. Raghav has been a part of the music industry for over six years and involved with a lot of diverse musical projects. He was the vocalist of a Delhi-based Progressive Rock band, which was featured as one of 'Five Bands To Watch Out For' by Rolling Stone India. He recently released his new song Bar Talk on YouTube which has been receiving a lot of appreciations. He is currently working on his first EP with his friend Zain Calcuttawala, a musician/producer based out in Mumbai. Raghav will be performing with his band members, Nishant Nagar on Bass and Hitesh Kumar on percussions/ harmonies.
