This Friday on 27th May, High Street Phoenix invites you to the next edition of AWESTRUNG with Maati Baani & Neeraj Arya's Kabir Cafe.

Maati Baani is an amalgamation of folk and contemporary music. They often include vernacular verses of Kabir, Bulleh Shah, Mirabai amongst other poets to produce songs that range of a spectrum of emotions. Their live music is known for its exceedingly energetic set that makes the audience a part of their musical journey.

Neeraj Arya's Kabir Cafe will perform the verses of Kabir but will do so using pop, reggae, rock, folk fusion and at times, even give a carnatic flavor. It is time to experience the TIMELESS verses of the man who knew no boundaries, through MUSIC, which knows NO BOUNDARIES.

Between 7 pm and 10 pm, the Courtyard of the mall will be abuzz with traditional folk music with a contemporary take to it.

AWESTRUNG is High Street Phoenix’s big-ticket, monthly music property in association with Pepsi MTV Indies and supported by Furtados Music which aims to bring the best names in the Indian music scene closer to the music lovers.
