Mumbai to host Bayer National Scrabble Championship 2017

26th to 28th May 2017, 9.am to 7.pm

Mumbai, April 12, 2017 – Get ready to witness an engaging war of words. The Bayer Group in India in association with The Mumbai Scrabble Club and the Scrabble Association of India (SAI) is hosting the Bayer National Scrabble Championship 2017. Organized at The Regenza by Tunga from May 26 - May 28, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m, the event will witness 24 rounds. The first 12 rounds will be in the Australian Draw format and the last 12 rounds in the King of the Hill format. The top three winners will represent India at the World Scrabble Championship to be held in Nairobi, Kenya in November 2017.

The Entry Fee is Rs. 2300 for SAI Members and Rs. 2500 for Non-SAI Members The entry fee includes lunch, tea & snacks for all the 3 days of the tournament.
