Come have a feast for your senses with AGP World’s "The Scent of a Man" at NCPA. Spicy and funny the play is a laugh riot that surrounds around two married couples – Nikhil (Ashwin Mushran), a successful advertising executive and his intelligent but slightly neurotic wife, Mallika (Suchitra Pillai); and Tupperware lady, Ananya (Bhavna Pani) and her husband Partho (Deven Khote), a teacher. who meet for a riotous evening of conversations.
'The Scent of a Man' is an uproarious comedy on lust, lies and infidelity pickled with generous doses of repartee, wit and sarcasm. This is the tale of a love quadrilateral gone awry.
The play explores the sanctity of the marital institution and the travails that come with wedlock. It is a humorous take on the institution of marriage, in which long-term relationships grow or wither.
Starring Suchitra Pillai, Ashwin Mushran, Bhavna Pani and Deven Khote the play is directed and produced by Ashwin Gidwani.

Suchitra Pillai is an Indian film actress, model, anchor, and VJ. She moved to England and made her debut in the French television film Le Prix dune Femme (1993). Some of her other notable works include Dil Chahta Hai (2001), Page 3 (2005). Fashion (2008) and Fitoor(2016). Suchitra also hosted the first season of the hit comedy show The Great Indian Comedy Show. She last appeared in the television shows 24 and Beintehaa.
ASHWIN MUSHRAN
Ashwin Mushran is an Indian actor. His debut film was Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006). He starred in Life In A Metro (2007), Krazzy 4 (2008), Fashion (2008) and Quick Gun Murugun (2009). Ashwin's recent films include Hum Tum Aur Ghost (2010), Delhi Belly (2011), Rise of The Zombie (2013) and Hola Venky (2015).
BHAVNA PANI
Bhavna Pani is an Indian actress - model and a dancer. Pani has been a dancer since the age of six and Kathak and Odissi dancer since the age of sixteen. She was trained in Odissi and Kathak by the legends Kelucharan Mohapatra and Birju Maharaj. She has also learned Contemporary Modern Dance at the Terrence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company and trained in Jazz and Ballet.
DEVEN KHOTE
Deven Khote first stepped onto the stage when in the 4th standard, and continued his love affair with theatre through school, college and beyond. He appeared in numerous stage productions in the 1980s and 90s, including Death Of A Salesman, Children Of A Lesser God, Night Of January 16th, Noises Off, God and Death, All The King's Men, A Streetcar Named Desire and The Wiz. He then pursued a very successful career in the Media industry, directing and producing numerous Ad Commercials, Television Programmes, Serials and Teleplays and Motion Pictures, both Indian and International. He is one of the founders of UTV.
