Oberoi Mall shares the Christmas cheer with Bal Anand Ashram Kids

Mumbai, December 27, 2013: Oberoi Mall, one of the premium malls in Mumbai, celebrated the Christmas spirit of giving and sharing with 24 children from Bal Anand Ashram for a fun filled day on December 26, 2013 at the mall. The kids were overwhelmed to meet Santa and get gifts, along with a kiddy favorite meal at Mc Donald’s which was followed by a movie at PVR cinema.

Commenting on this occasion, Mr. Nirzar Jain, Vice-President, Oberoi Mall said, “The kids were excited and in awe of the activities planned for them. They enjoyed every minute of their time with Santa at the mall. We are fortunate to do something for these underprivileged kids to make their Christmas and New Yearhappy. We only hope we have been able to create memories they cherish for long.”

Bal Anand serves as a short stay home for homeless children to be rehabilitated through adoption and long term home for mentally challenged children. They train the children to become independent through special schools, speech therapy, physical therapy, vocational therapy as well as therapeutic interventions such as dance, yoga, music, sports, arts, and crafts.
