Lunchbox Actress Nimrat Kaur will enchant the ramp in a stunning Shilpa Reddy Outfit at the Lakme Fashion Week S/R 2015

Sultry beauty Nimrat Kaur will be seen in designer Shilpa Reddy's showstopper outfit at the Lakme Fashion Week this year. Inspired by the charming hues of the 'Moon Lit Sand', Shilpa Reddy has created her upcoming collection and so goes the name. The elegant actress seems to be the perfect choice to flaunt Shilpa's design.

Her designs exude the subtle and elegant hues of the sands, the night sky and the magical aura of the moon. This surreal collection unveils on the 22nd of March at the Lakme Fashion Week S/R 2015.

Shilpa has been on her toes this season with an exciting line-up of events. Right after presenting her collection at the J Spring 2015, New York on the 19th of March, she will be back to showcase a totally unique and inspiring collection at the LFW 2015. Former Mrs. India, model and socialite Shilpa Reddy was also the first Indian designer to showcase her Indo-Western collection at the J Autumn Show 2014 held on the spectacular Eiffel Tower in Paris.

What to look forward to?

The malkha and khadi silk foundation of Shilpa's creation holds an uncanny resemblance to the exquisite shades of the sands lit up by the radiant moon. Khadi being the fabric that originated in India and promoted an ideology for self-reliance. A humble yet attractive floral motif against the khadi silk base creates an illustrationary contrast. She has also designed her own range of footwear for each of her outfits. Famous for her 'understated extravagance', Shilpa is ready with this new collection, which is surely going to be a visual retreat! It would be absolutely ecstatic to witness the extraordinary arrey of outfits.

A mix of contemporary elegance and traditional poise makes Shilpa's collections so special. The elegant and talented Shilpa Reddy is quite the maverick in the world of fashion and beauty. She is a fashion graduate from the Academy of Design, Toronto. She has competed in the popular Gladrags Mrs. India contest in 2004 and won the coveted title. The diva has also been a part of the prestigious Kingfisher Calendar. Apart from being a fashion designer, model and beauty queen she has also written health and fitness columns for leading journals and magazines. She is an influential socialite in Hyderabad and someone who is actively associated with charity work such as Breast Cancer Awareness, Danutsav, Hariton-Green run and is the brand ambassador of 'Roshni', an organisation for mental health.

All of her designs feature Shilpa's authentic imagination and contemporary notions. Her work is a visual fiesta with sprinkles of innovation floating in every fiber of her creations.
