Garo by Sweta and Priyangsu Launches its Festive Collection - Catalya in Mumbai

Mumbai-October 2016 : Designer duo Priyangsu Maji and Sweta Tantia of Garo Designs has a special collection for the festive season – Catalya in Mumbai. It is an rare South American Orchid that symbolises strength and individuality. An extravaganza of colors, detailed embroidery and flowy silhouettes. The collection dedicated to the upcoming Navratri, Diwali and Wedding season.

The designers have used a variety of lustrous fabrics like Chiffon, Chanderi and Georgette. The line of designs is a mix of purely traditional outfits as well as indo-western silhouettes. The intricate embroidery on each design is the highlight of this collection.

A festive colour pallette has been used throughout the creation. One can see shades of coral, burgundy and reds. There is also use of shades from electric blue tomidnight blue. You can wear these traditional skirts, cape gowns and shararas to Diwali events, sangeet functions or wedding receptions.
