Comic Con India is all set to host Alto Mumbai Comic Con! Mumbai’s biggest pop culture event of the year!

Mumbai, 4th October’ 2016 - Comic Con India is back with its 6th edition of Alto Mumbai Comic Con which will take place on October 22 & 23’ 2016 between 11 a.m. to 8 p.m at Bombay Exhibition Center. Maruti Suzuki Alto is the presenting sponsor of all the Comic Con India shows this calendar year which includes Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Alto Mumbai Comic Con 2016 will be much bigger and better with a truly enhanced fan experience. This year’s action packed show features the best of Comics, Merchandise, Toys, Experiential & Gaming Zones, International Guests, Meet & Greet Sessions, Gaming, Fan Meet-ups & Much More.

Like every year, MCC will feature special guests and has arranged for meet and greets for fans. Famous international personalities like Jim Beaver, who starred as the beloved demon hunter Bobby Singer on Supernatural; Cameron Stewart, an Eisner award winning artist, known for his work on Catwoman & Batman series from DC; Edwin Huang, a New York based comic artist, illustrator and storyboarder, known for his work on the Street Fighter comic series and Dan Goldman, Artist of Shooting Wars, Red Light properties, Priya’s Shakti will be attending and taking special sessions at MCC 2016.

For Alto Mumbai Comic Con 2016 tickets will be available on Mumbai Comic Con Website (http://bit.ly/2aIomtn) as well as at the venue. The tickets would be priced at Rs. 375 Single day and Rs.575 for the Super Fan VIP Ticket which allows entry on both the days. Only a limited number of Super Fan VIP tickets will be issued. Super Fan ticket can be booked online only, these will not be available at the venue.

Another ticketing category called Buddy Pass is especially designed for fans coming to comic con with their friends in a group. 5 Friends who book the buddy pass get access to the show with exclusive (limited edition) set of 5 wristbands created only for this year’s event. Gangs can buy Buddy Pass for Rs 1875.

Cosplay (Costume Contest), one of the major attractions at Comic Con India, will continue to give assured prizes to people in great costumes. Comic Con India under its 5 categories -1. Comic book/graphic novel 2. Animated Series/Movie 3. Manga/Anime 4. Sci-Fi/Fantasy and 5. Gaming will choose one winner in each category each day. Also, 5 Cosplayers will get a voucher of Rs 2500 (each) for their Spirit of Cosplay.

Each day, One lucky winner out of the chosen 5 will get an awesome chance to win INR 50000 (Cash Prize) and to enter in ‘Indian Championships of Cosplay’. The Winner of ‘Indian Championships of Cosplay’ will compete and represent the country at the Annual Crown Championships of Cosplay at Chicago Comics & Entertainment Expo!

Comic Con India brings a special treat for all the tech and gaming enthusiasts in Mumbai this year! There will be exclusive Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Experience Zone will also have an awesome experiential zone for fans, with art installations and gaming. Nodwin Gaming Zone at the event, will be hosting a slew of gaming activities.

Other exclusive Experiential Zones at Alto Mumbai Comic Con includes AXN Zone & Marvel’s Dr. Strange Zone. AXN Zone will have lots of fun engagements with a chance to win some cool goodies.Fans can witness some of their favorite characters like Sam & Dean, Sherlock, Heisenberg, Dexter etc come alive and engage with them in the most fun-filled way! And Marvel’s Dr. Strange Zone, will be celebrating their upcoming movie.

Alto Mumbai Comic Con will also feature an awesome and a first of its kind WWE Zone. The WWE experience will have a grand stage complete with a huge LED wall that will allow fans to select their favorite WWE Superstar’s entrance music, as they make their way down the specially created ramp. WWE is giving fans a never-before, unmatched experience; a chance to feel, act, and enter the ring just like their favorite WWE Superstar!

One of the main attractions of the event will be first of its kind Wand Master Training Booth (By Warner Bros) & WWE Zone. At the Wand Master Training Booth, people can learn to use wands to create official spells and get the video of their experience ​too.

Fans will find an “Artist Alley” at the MCC 2016. It is a zone, exclusively featuring artists from all over India and Mumbai. It will give fans an opportunity to interact with awesome artists, illustrators, designers working for comics and related fields. The alley will feature artists & creators like Saumin Patel, Vijay Brahmnia, Leena Swamy, Marina Theresa, Ram Iyer, Nikita Dasgupta, Rajeev Tamahakar, Reshmi Chandrashekhar, Divya Chaturvedi, Parmi Jethwani and many more.

For the sheer love for Comics, around 6 new Comic Book titles will get launched at the convention. Well known creators like Vivek Goel from Holy Cow, Abhijeet Kini, Aniruddho Chakraborty from Chariot comics, Shamik Dasgupta from Yali Dreams, will be at the show as well!
